Just the thought of hiring a financial advisor can feel overwhelming. Studies prove that it's a little easier if you know what's ahead. We've laid out each step of our onboarding process so you know exactly what to expect every step of the way.
Introductory Call
It all starts with a 15-minute phone call. This time, although brief, gives us both the ability to learn a little about each other and make sure we're a good fit. If we determine that we aren't a good fit for each other, we will gladly point you toward other great fee-only financial advisors that we know and respect.*
Proposal Meeting
Now that we know a little bit more about each other, it's time for us to meet either in-person or via a web conference. During this meeting, we review the scope of our engagement and the estimated costs. We also continue to further define your financial goals and objectives. We may ask that you send us certain documents like tax returns and investment statements prior to this meeting just to make sure we're prepared and respectful of your time.
Time To Think
We know the decision to hire a financial advisor is tough and we respect you taking all the time you need to make your decision. There are no high-pressure sales tactics as we want you to feel comfortable about this decision.
You Say Go!
We are truly honored to begin working with you! We'll give you a call before we get started just to make sure we answer any outstanding questions and set the expectations of the new client process.
